Avan Dasht Parsian Agro-Industrial Complex of Medicinal Plants is one of the largest supply chains of medicinal plants and bee products in Iran and the Middle East, involved in alterant industries as well. It is located on a land with an area of 181,000 square meters (18 hectares) in the ancient Plain of Marvdasht (near Persepolis). This company supplies high-quality raw materials, under the brand name Nasoot, to pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics companies.

Avan Dasht Parsian Cooperative Company is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including stainless steel distillers for extracting essential oils and aromatic waters from medicinal plants, a fully automatic distillation tower, herbal medicine extraction concentrator, spray dryer, industrial percolator, micron press filter, sachet machine, etc. For the supply chain, a specialized Mother greenhouse, with an annual capacity of producing more than 20 million seedlings of medicinal plants, has been built to meet the basic needs of the farmers, who are trained and supported by the company, so that they can grow standard seedlings from F1 and high-quality seeds.
The company purchases their products for sustainable production and supply of raw materials. One of our main policies is increasing the scientific and practical knowledge of farmers and producers of medicinal plants via free education and using standard and up-to-date methods for producing high-quality products with international standards. In this regard, more than 1000 farmers have received this training for two years.
At present, the company has an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of medicinal herbs 5,000 tons of distillates, 100 tons of extracts, 100 tons of essential oils, 800 tons of vegetable oils, 3 tons of natural dyes, 3,000 tons of honey and 100,000 packs of herbal infusion tea bags.
